NY Wedding Affair

I have spent a lot of time talking about home security with a lot of homeowners. I am trying to gain some insight on different ways our homes become at risk. One gentleman informed me that he had been home for the afternoon one day, but left to pick his son up from soccer practice. After the man pitched his sale, he asked if he could talk it over with her inside the house. She said no thanks, and the man replied by asking if he could at least come inside and use her telephone. Since the man was being so persistent, she again declined and closed the door in his face.

All of us have had encounters with suspicious people and situations. Some are worse than others, like that of the first man. The information I am analyzing helps me determine what drives people to buy a security system. The second woman said she elected to get one the very next day.

I have learned about a lot of similar stories from other families. People never truly know what can happen on a specific day. I am convinced these people did not wake up that morning assuming something abnormal would happen later that day. It definitely emphasizes the value in always being proactive.
