Home Security Stories from People Just Like You

I have spent a lot of time talking with lots of homeowners about their home security. I am working to acquire some insight on the different ways our homes can be threatened. I asked each person I spoke with if they had ever witnessed any suspicious activity at home. A robbery, broken windows, a suspicious individual – anything. Almost every single person had a story to tell me. Many of their stories would lead them to purchase a security system. I have been told that Kansas Home Security is the option many have decided on.

One man informed me that he had been home for the afternoon one day, but left to go pick his son up from baseball practice. After they returned home approximately 10 minutes later, one of the windows was shattered and some things were missing from inside. He thought he had been watched, and the burglar knew once he left the house. Another mother of 3 explained that she opened the door to someone who said they were a salesman. After the guy pitched his sale, he then asked if he could talk it over with her inside. She said no thank you, and the man again replied by asking if he could still come inside and use her phone. Since he was being persistent, she again declined and closed the door in his face.

We have all had encounters with suspicious people and situations. Some experiences are worse than others, like the first man’s experience. The information I am trying to figure out will help me figure out what encourages people to install a alarm system. The second woman said she elected to get one the next day.

I have learned about a ton of identical stories from other people. People never truly know what will happen on a specific day. I am positive these people did not wake up thinking something abnormal would happen that day. It really highlights the importance of always being proactive.
